Melissa Laitman studied photography at the University of Arizona before completing her degree in Visual Media from The American University in Washington, DC. Her first big shoot was with Mikhail Baryishnikov when he first began with the White Oak Dance Project. Elton John was next followed by a bevy of celebrities at many charity events throughout the country. From there, Melissa decided to go for something different. She branched out and tried something she wasn't familiar with - architecture. Finding that she had a keen eye for detail, she continued on this trail and found herself being hired for magazine and newspaper publications in Florida, Boston and California. Her Italian exterior photos can be found on many website's and have been used in affiliation with Italian villa rental companies throughout the United States and Italy.
Melissa has also shot photos for the US Olympic Festival (equestrian, water polo, wrestling, lacross and hockey), The Boston Red Sox and tennis tournaments throughout the world.
